"Modular Showrooms, Precision in Aluminum Design – Inspired by Bauhaus Excellence"
This interior design project involved creating a modern, modular showroom for an aluminium fixture trader, with the unique challenge of exclusively using in-house aluminium fixtures. The design theme was inspired by the Bauhaus movement, known for its emphasis on clear geometry, functional design, and a distinctive colour palette of primary colours. The modular nature of the showroom allows for flexible displays that can be easily reconfigured to showcase different products. The layout is clean and uncluttered, with a focus on geometric shapes and lines, reflecting the Bauhaus philosophy of form following function. The colour scheme is bold yet minimal, utilising primary colours—red, blue, yellow—combined with neutral tones like black, white, and grey. These colours are strategically applied to highlight key areas of the showroom, guiding visitors' attention and enhancing the visual impact of the displayed fixtures. Overall, the design successfully merges the practicality of modularity with the aesthetic principles of the Bauhaus movement, creating a dynamic and visually engaging environment that showcases the aluminium fixtures in a sophisticated and modern setting.
